

Course Overview

This 8-hour course focuses on improving patrol-level decision making, critical thinking, and communication during high-risk and rapidly evolving incidents. Drawing from real-world experience—including body-worn camera footage and personal accounts from officer-involved shootings and their aftermath—participants will examine how decisions are made under stress and how those decisions impact outcomes. The course is designed to provide practical, immediately applicable skills that enhance officer safety, leadership, and performance during critical incidents.
